Fan Diego has been a family business operated by the same family since 1982. The store existed before that — but for 44 years our family has been the steward of the business, the team, and the relationships with manufacturers and customers.
Forty-four years later, we're still the same family business — still served by people who actually know ceiling fans, not employees who turn over every season. That continuity is why customers who bought from us in the 1990s still call us when they need parts, and why builders and designers we worked with on their first homes come back for their current projects.
Since 1982 we've operated two showrooms: the San Diego location, which serves San Diego County and the Imperial Valley, and the Rancho Mirage location, which serves the Coachella Valley. Today our two showrooms cover all of Southern California — from San Diego County through La Quinta and Palm Desert — with the same family service and product knowledge.
